My Wife - My Love - My Everything




Linda Darnell Pack, of Ghent, went to be with The Lord on June 25, 2017 after a 14 year battle with cancer.


 "I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith" 2 Timothy 4:7

Born on December 18, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Silas and Loretta Bolen.

Mrs. Pack was a wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker. She was a devoted Christian and active member of the Cool Ridge Freewill Baptist Church.

Besides her parents, she was proceeded in death by an infant sister, Barbara Jean, and an infant brother, Arthur Ray.

Those survivors left to cherish her memory include her husband of 32 years, Charles M. Pack Jr. of Ghent; children, David Ross Webb of Cool Ridge and Jennifer Lester and husband, Greg, of Cool Ridge; grandchildren, Eli, Chloe and Kaden all of Cool Ridge; sisters, Elizabeth Petitt and husband, David, of Beaver, Mary 'Cookie' Bennett of Beaver and Patricia Traybor of Shady Spring; brothers, Forrest Wayne Bolen of Concord, NC, Silas Bolen Jr. of Concord, NC, and Jeff Bolen and wife, Val of Beckley; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Charles Sr. and Virginia Pack of Shady Spring; brothers-in-law, Richard Pack and wife, Cindy, and Billy Pack and wife, Synthia, all of Jacksonville, FL; sister-in-law, Patricia Lilly and husband, Danny, of Piney View, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Special thanks to the staff of Raleigh Cancer Center and Hospice of Southern WV.

Funeral services will be conducted at 3 PM on Wednesday, June 28, 2017, at Cool Ridge Freewill Baptist Church with Pastor Danny Gilfilen officiating. Burial will follow at Paris Shrewsberry Cemetery in Ghent. Friends may visit with the family from 6 to 9 PM Tuesday at the church and one hour prior to services on Wednesday at the church.

Family members will serve as pallbearers.

In lieu of flowers an In Memory Of gift can be made to Susan G. Komen West Virginia or Hospice of Southern WV.
